Meaning

Analysis cultivates the will toward meaning. We do not change events; we change the way we are able to inhabit our own story. Within the therapeutic encounter, life acquires new meaning — the narrative opens, space expands, and freedom begins to take shape as a lived reality.

The Analytic Process

The analytic process is a form of art. It is a dialogue in which analyst and analysand co-create a space of meaning, a space where the unconscious can find ways to express itself. The process does not promise the absence of difficulty; rather, it offers greater resilience, emotional understanding, and freedom of movement within life.

My Professional Path

Curricula vitae are often written in ways that smooth over, if not conceal, the gaps, discontinuities, and ruptures that life inevitably contains. My own analytic path has not been linear; it has taken shape through people and relationships, pivotal moments and transitions, all of which have played a decisive role in the formation of my professional identity and in the way I think about and practise analysis.

My professional identity has been shaped through years of training, drawing on a wide and varied professional experience in order to adapt the therapeutic process to the needs of each individual. I trained in Group Analysis in Athens, where I deepened my understanding of group dynamics and the collective unconscious.

I completed postgraduate studies in Jungian Analytic Psychology (University of Essex), where I further expanded and deepened my analytic perspective. I am currently engaged in ongoing training in Lacanian theory, exploring the role of language and desire within the therapeutic process. Many other thinkers within the psychoanalytic tradition continue to inspire my work and to nourish the ongoing development of my clinical thinking.
